EasyBot: step-by-step onboarding guide

After installing EasyBot, you'll be redirected to the main dashboard, where you can easily create your first bot.



Adding your first easyBot


Adding your first (and every) easyBot is as easy as a pie, and it should not take you more than a few minutes.


After successful installation, start off by entering Installed Apps Settings > EasyBot

it should look like this:


To add your first bot, click "Add a new bot", and select a template you'd like to start with:



You can choose to create a new bot from scratch or use one of our pre-defined template bots, where we take extra care to craft pre-defined messages in each block.


Here, we'll click "Out of office" bot template, and as you can see below, you have a section of building blocks you can use to create your bot.



Our team is constantly working on the solution, so expect to see new blocks regularly.


After creating your chatbot story and hitting save, you'll see a confirmation popup with all the basic data of your new bot.


Your new bot has a randomly selected name and basic setting applied, so make sure to Edit bot settings before enabling the bot.

Here, you can edit the bot icon, name, position, chat limit, groups, working hours, and much more, so please take the time to set everything up. As you can see in the EasyBot dashboard, all the changes will be applied automatically:



Enabling your bot


Congrats! You just created your first bot! Let's enable it and see it in action.

Open your Chatbots page in LiveChat, look for your newly created bot and press the "Enable" button:


it should look like this:


And you're done! Now Mike (your friendly bot) will start chatting with your customers just like that:




Tracking your bots chats usage


At any point in time, you can check your monthly conversation usage, and remember that the first 50 chats each month are forever free with easyBot!
